Why contractors pick ExteriorPro instead
Made for exterior work
Roofing, siding, windows & doors and gutters are all ExteriorPro does. Measurements, packages and proposals are built around those four trades from the start.
Month to month
No annual contract and no minimum term. Cancel from your settings, and nothing is owed for the months you don't use.
Running the same week
There's no implementation project. Sign up, add your team and send your first proposal the same day.
Switching from ServiceTitan, step by step
In this order, so you never pay for both longer than you have to and nothing gets left behind.
-
1
Find your renewal date and notice period
ServiceTitan: Mostly annual or multi-year and noncancelable, per its annual report. Leaving early can cost the remaining payments.
Put that date in your calendar before anything else. Your ExteriorPro trial is 30 days, so there's no reason to pay for both for longer than that.
-
2
Get your export
They pledge a CSV export of your data if you leave. Source
At the least, ask for your customers, their addresses, and your open jobs with the stage each one is at. A CSV or Excel file is ideal.
-
3
Start your trial and load your price list
Import your price list from a spreadsheet, then build your packages from it. That part stays yours, because it's how you price.
-
4
Send us the export, and we move it on a call
Customers, their addresses and properties, and your open jobs with their stage come across as standard. Completed jobs, photos and custom fields take a short conversation first. It's free however long it takes, and we delete your file once you've confirmed the move.
-
5
Run one real job through, then give notice
Take a lead to a signed proposal and a work order in ExteriorPro. Once that works, send your cancellation. ServiceTitan stays live until the notice runs out, so nothing is ever switched off under you.
Questions contractors ask
How much does ServiceTitan cost?
ServiceTitan doesn't publish its prices. Its pricing page says it prices per technician, and every plan asks you to request pricing. Its annual report says most customers sign annual or multi-year contracts. ExteriorPro is $199 or $399 a month by company size, month to month, with every user included.
Is ServiceTitan built for roofing?
It was built first for trades like HVAC, plumbing and electrical, and has added roofing tools over the past two years. It sells on per-technician pricing with mostly annual contracts. ExteriorPro is made only for roofing, siding, windows and gutters, month to month.
Can I move from ServiceTitan to ExteriorPro?
Usually, yes. Show us your export on a call and we'll move your customers, their properties and your open jobs across for free. Check your ServiceTitan order form first, because leaving before the term ends can mean paying the remaining months.
