About JobNimbus
JobNimbus is a CRM and job management app for home exterior contractors, mainly roofing, restoration, solar, gutters and siding. It was founded in 2013 in Lehi, Utah, and took a $330 million investment from Sumeru Equity Partners in 2024. Its plans run from Essentials, for up to 3 users, to Enterprise, for 20 or more.
Why contractors pick ExteriorPro instead
The price is on the page
$199 a month under $1M in yearly revenue, $399 at $1M and above. You know what it costs before you talk to anybody.
Hiring doesn't change your plan
Every user is included. Taking on your fourth person, or your eleventh, never moves you into a bigger plan.
Nothing to build first
The pipeline, the proposal and the work order come set up for roofing, siding, windows & doors and gutters. There are no boards or automations to design before your first estimate.
Switching from JobNimbus, step by step
In this order, so you never pay for both longer than you have to and nothing gets left behind.
-
1
Find your renewal date and notice period
JobNimbus: Monthly or annual, depending on the plan. Renews automatically, and cancelling takes 30 days' notice before the renewal date.
Put that date in your calendar before anything else. Your ExteriorPro trial is 30 days, so there's no reason to pay for both for longer than that.
-
2
Get your export
Their terms allow a reasonable fee for a data export. Ask what it costs before you give notice. Source
At the least, ask for your customers, their addresses, and your open jobs with the stage each one is at. A CSV or Excel file is ideal.
-
3
Start your trial and load your price list
Import your price list from a spreadsheet, then build your packages from it. That part stays yours, because it's how you price.
-
4
Send us the export, and we move it on a call
Customers, their addresses and properties, and your open jobs with their stage come across as standard. Completed jobs, photos and custom fields take a short conversation first. It's free however long it takes, and we delete your file once you've confirmed the move.
-
5
Run one real job through, then give notice
Take a lead to a signed proposal and a work order in ExteriorPro. Once that works, send your cancellation. JobNimbus stays live until the notice runs out, so nothing is ever switched off under you.
Questions contractors ask
How much does JobNimbus cost?
JobNimbus doesn't publish its prices. Every plan on its pricing page asks you to request pricing, so you find out by talking to its sales team. ExteriorPro is $199 a month under $1M in yearly revenue and $399 at $1M and above, with every user included.
Can I move my data from JobNimbus to ExteriorPro?
Usually, yes. Show us your JobNimbus export on a call and we'll move your contacts, their addresses and your open jobs across for free. Anything that needs a decision from you, we ask about first.
Is there a contract?
Not with ExteriorPro. It's billed month to month and you cancel from your settings. JobNimbus's terms renew your subscription automatically and ask for 30 days' notice before the renewal date to cancel.
