Why contractors pick ExteriorPro instead
The price is on the page
$199 a month under $1M in yearly revenue, $399 at $1M and above. No quote, no demo first, and no fee for each user.
Proposals come included
Signed proposals and the customer's job page come with the price. AccuLynx sells proposals with e-signature, and its customer portal, as add-ons.
Try it before anyone calls
Thirty days free, started without a demo or a sales call. AccuLynx starts with a demo and a quote.
Switching from AccuLynx, step by step
In this order, so you never pay for both longer than you have to and nothing gets left behind.
-
1
Find your renewal date and notice period
AccuLynx: Month to month or annual. Cancelling or removing users takes 30 days' notice.
Put that date in your calendar before anything else. Your ExteriorPro trial is 30 days, so there's no reason to pay for both for longer than that.
-
2
Get your export
You can take your data out, and their terms allow a reasonable fee for it. Ask what it costs before you give notice. Source
At the least, ask for your customers, their addresses, and your open jobs with the stage each one is at. A CSV or Excel file is ideal.
-
3
Start your trial and load your price list
Import your price list from a spreadsheet, then build your packages from it. That part stays yours, because it's how you price.
-
4
Send us the export, and we move it on a call
Customers, their addresses and properties, and your open jobs with their stage come across as standard. Completed jobs, photos and custom fields take a short conversation first. It's free however long it takes, and we delete your file once you've confirmed the move.
-
5
Run one real job through, then give notice
Take a lead to a signed proposal and a work order in ExteriorPro. Once that works, send your cancellation. AccuLynx stays live until the notice runs out, so nothing is ever switched off under you.
Questions contractors ask
How much does AccuLynx cost?
AccuLynx doesn't publish its prices. Its Pro and Elite plans are priced by quote, and it charges a monthly fee for each user license. ExteriorPro is $199 a month under $1M in yearly revenue and $399 at $1M and above, with every user included.
Can I move my data from AccuLynx to ExteriorPro?
Usually, yes. Show us what you have on a call and we'll move your customers, their properties and your contact history across for free. Ask AccuLynx for your export in writing before you cancel, because its terms allow it to charge a reasonable fee for one.
Does ExteriorPro handle insurance jobs?
Yes. You record the carrier, claim number and adjuster on the job, and the estimate can break out overhead and profit on the proposal the adjuster reads.
